Notice the Chickadee trying to fly away?
Or do you only see the portrait of Boris?
Boris, who modeled for Chickadee,
could not perceive the Chickadee for 3 months…
and after that, he had trouble seeing himself!
This drawing incorporates the 11th Principle of SueView Perspective,
which states: “Images perceived from the conscious are integrated,
at times superimposed, with perceptions and images of the subconscious.”
This mingling of inner and outer environments facilitates
more profound discoveries and enjoyment for everyone involved.
It enhances appreciation and understanding.
Chickadees charm me!
Whenever I hear their song, I am convinced
they are singing, “HEL-LO!”
Likewise, Boris is very charming.
This piece holds a great deal of meaning for me.
For 20 years, I was forced to wait before it could be drawn.
Additionally, it won a $5,000 prize.
